Before Your Carpet Installation
Knowing what to expect before your carpet installation can help ensure that the process is smooth.
Prior to your carpet installation, a member of our crew will walk you through the entire process, answering any questions that you might have and giving you a general timeline of what to expect and when to expect it. This is a good time for you to ask any questions that you might have, discuss the timetable, and so on.
Before installation, it is a good idea to complete any painting tasks that might need to be done too.
On installation day itself, we ask that you remove any furniture from the room(s) where the installation is set to take place. Pets and children should also vacate where the carpet installation will take place.
From there, we will begin your carpet installation.
During & After Your Carpet Installation
On installation day, our crew will begin by addressing the subflooring. Make sure you have a plan for your existing carpet or subflooring. This may need to be removed, and it costs extra if it's not something that is figured out ahead of time. You should also consider a waste management plan prior to installation.
With those things settled, our crew will lay the underpad before also laying down the carpet. The next step will involve the crew matching up the carpet seams. And then, finally, stretching and attaching the carpet to the floor. The process may vary depending on the crew, the size of the space, etc.
Once finished, you are free to enjoy your carpet flooring.
