Before Your Laminate Installation
Knowing what to expect before your laminate installation can help ensure that the process is smooth.
Prior to your laminate installation, a member of our crew will walk you through the entire process, answering any questions that you might have and giving you a general timeline of what to expect and when to expect it. This is a good time for you to ask any questions that you might have, discuss the timetable, and so on.
Before installation, it is a good idea to complete any painting tasks that might need to be done too.
On installation day itself, we ask that you remove any furniture from the room(s) where the installation is set to take place. Pets and children should also vacate where the laminate installation will take place.
From there, we will begin your laminate installation.
During & After Laminate Installation
The laminate installation process may vary depending on the size of the job and the materials used. First, your crew will acclimate the laminate planks to the temperature of the room. They will then trim door jams and install the underlayment
The crew will begin to lay the laminate planks. Some laminate floors will be connected using an interlocking system, "a floating floor," while others may require an adhesive. You should discuss which installation method you will be opting for before your installation.
Once finished, your crew will provide the finishing touches, and you will be free to enjoy your new laminate floors.
