Before Your Tile Installation
Knowing what to expect before your tile installation can help ensure that the process is smooth.
Prior to your tile installation, a member of our crew will walk you through the entire process, answering any questions that you might have and giving you a general timeline of what to expect and when to expect it. This is a good time for you to ask any questions that you might have, discuss the timetable, and so on.
Before installation, it is a good idea to complete any painting tasks that might need to be done too.
On installation day itself, we ask that you remove any furniture from the room(s) where the installation is set to take place. Pets and children should also vacate where the tile installation will take place.
From there, we will begin your tile installation.
During & After Your Tile Installation
You'll want to make sure that you have a plan for subflooring and waste management prior to your installation. Doing so can ensure that your tile installation goes quickly and with considerable ease.
The tile installation process will vary depending, but here is a cursory overview of what will take place: your crew will mix the mortar and apply it to the floor using a trowel; they will then lay the tile down on the mortar, ensuring there is cohesion between the two.
The crew will then work on grouting and overall clean up. From there, you are free to enjoy your tile flooring.
